What Baby Unicorns Taught Me About Negotiation And Connection

Welcome to Unicorn Coo!

A sleeping baby
Did you say baby unicorns? Wow!

If you're new here, this space is created for individuals who are curious about unicorns, babies, and all things pure, gentle, and energetically supportive.

If You’re New Here (And a Little Skeptical)

If you’re wondering, are unicorns even real? And what do you mean by baby unicorns? Do you mean babies who are unicorns or unicorns who are babies? And also, what am I doing here, reading this blog post?

These are valid inner dialogue questions, and questions I hear often from people who choose to work with me.

I had similar doubts when I first began working with unicorns and baby unicorns. However, I now know that baby unicorns and unicorns are real, as I have been actively and professionally working with them for the past two years.

Unicorns and baby unicorns stem from the angelic realm. They are spiritual beings who guide, support, protect, heal, and adore us. In my work, I see them function as best friends, companions, and protective energetic helpers, when individuals are open to receiving their support.

Unicorns are adult versions of unicorns, whereas baby unicorns are baby versions of unicorns. Their qualities include extreme purity, laughter, innocence, fierce protection, love, tenderness, friendship, and high levels of play and playfulness.

Many people assume that baby unicorns are available only to a select few. From my experience, they can be called by any individual. There is no barrier of age, economic conditions, spiritual beliefs, or even needing to identify as a good person to begin working with baby unicorns.

That said, it may be difficult for a baby unicorn to connect with someone who is extremely resentful or consistently holds monstrous thoughts about themselves and others.

Baby unicorns are insightful teachers. In my practice, I’ve observed that they teach through subtle, practical experiences that many adults overlook or dismiss.

With your permission, I’d like to share a real-life example that reflects how baby unicorn guidance shows up in my life, specifically around negotiation.

A Real Example From My Professional Practice

I have been developing stronger negotiation skills for my business with the support of a marketing coach. While the learning has been valuable, I noticed insecurity around my negotiating abilities.

Yesterday, I intentionally created an opportunity to practise negotiation with the guidance of my baby unicorn team.

I have a friend who is 5-years-old. Her name is Yivanshika. We call each other ‘friend’. When I met Yivanshika, I thought, who better than Yivanshika to practise my negotiation skills with and observe where I might be going off track.

While we were talking, I noticed she had a rubber cup and a bubble blower. She was explaining to me how the bubble blower works.

I asked her if she would like to exchange her bubble blower for my bottle.

She said no.

At that point, I consciously called in Blue and Pause, the baby unicorn angels I work with. I asked them to guide me through the negotiation.

I then tried different approaches. I asked if I could barter for her bubble blower, bottle, cycle, and eventually even her shoes.

She declined every exchange.

Initially, it felt as though Blue and Pause were not intervening.

After several attempts, I sensed clear guidance to disengage and move on with my day.

As I walked toward the lift, I heard a small voice behind me say, ‘friend’.

I turned around and saw Yivanshika slowly following me.

It became clear that she wanted to continue the interaction.

This was the insight Blue and Pause were offering that the focus was not on winning the exchange, but on building connection through presence and play.

Yivanshika was far more interested in being in relationship than in bartering.

I did not succeed in negotiating for the bubble blower. What I gained instead was a clear professional insight that negotiation is rooted in relationship and trust, not transaction alone.

Interestingly, I applied this understanding the very next day while interacting with another child named Aarav. I met Aarav when I was in the garden, while he was playing with his bubble blower (yes, the children in my vicinity love bubble blowers).

I asked Aarav if I could take his bubble blower. He initially refused.

Rather than pushing, I set aside my agenda and focused on playing with him. We spoke about his fake sword made of twigs.

When I asked again, he happily agreed.

This is the kind of grounded, experiential learning that baby unicorns support and the kind of insight I help sensitive individuals access through private coaching.

If you are practising a skill, navigating self-doubt, or seeking clarity and support while remaining true to your sensitivity, learning to work with baby unicorn guidance may benefit you.

Baby unicorns do not only watch over babies. They also support adults, professionals, and sensitive souls, which makes them especially relevant in personal and professional growth.

It is a win-win situation, my friend.

I look forward to meeting you.

I’ll be ready with a warm cup of tea. How about you?
